At Nagoodtee, our mission is to bring the organic beauty of the forest into your home. We take immense pride in the craftsmanship of our Wooden Mushroom Shelves. We want you to be absolutely delighted with your unique wall decor.

However, we understand that buying high-end decor online involves trust, and sometimes a piece may not fit your space or vision exactly as you imagined. This policy outlines your rights and responsibilities regarding returns, refunds, and exchanges. Please read this policy carefully. As we deal with handcrafted natural wood items that are valuable and require careful handling, our policy is designed to be fair to both our customers and our artisans.

1. THE 30-DAY RETURN WINDOW

You have 30 days from the date your package is delivered to request a return.

  • If 30 days have gone by since your purchase was delivered, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

  • To be eligible for a return, your request must be initiated via email within this timeframe.

2. NATURAL WOOD DISCLAIMER (NOT A DEFECT)

Before initiating a return, please remember the nature of the material. Our shelves are crafted from real, solid wood. Unlike plastic or resin, wood is a living material with a unique history.

  • Variations: Differences in grain pattern, mineral streaks, knots, and slight color variations are natural characteristics of timber.

  • Uniqueness: These features are what make your Mushroom Shelf one-of-a-kind. No two pieces are 100% identical to the photos on our website.

  • Policy: Returns based on natural wood variations (e.g., “The grain is too dark” or “There is a knot here”) are considered “Change of Mind” returns, not Defective/Damaged returns.

3. DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS (FULL RESOLUTION)

We pack our shelves with extreme care, but accidents can happen during transit. If your item arrives damaged or defective, we will make it right at no cost to you.

  • Reporting Window: You must inspect your package immediately upon delivery. Please report any damages to [email protected] within 72 hours of receipt.

  • Required Evidence: To speed up the process, please provide:

    • Your Order Number.

    • Clear photos of the damaged product (close-up and full view).

    • Photos of the outer box/packaging (showing any crushing or dents).

  • Resolution: Depending on the severity, we will offer:

    • A Free Replacement sent immediately.

    • A Professional Repair Allowance (if the damage is minor and you prefer to keep it).

    • A 100% Full Refund (including shipping costs).

4. “CHANGE OF MIND” RETURNS (PARTIAL REFUND)

If you decide to return the item for reasons such as “It doesn’t match my wall,” “It’s bigger than I thought,” or “I changed my plans,” you are welcome to do so. However, because shipping high-value items is costly, the following fees apply:

A. Return Shipping Costs

  • The customer is responsible for the full cost of return shipping.

  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service (like UPS or FedEx) and purchasing shipping insurance. We are not responsible if your return package is lost or damaged on its way back to us.

B. Original Shipping Costs

  • The original shipping fee (e.g., the $19.99 flat rate) is non-refundable.

  • If your order qualified for Free Shipping (orders over $799), the actual cost Nagoodtee incurred to ship the item to you (which is often significantly higher than standard rates) will be deducted from your final refund.

C. Restocking Fee (20%)

  • All non-defective returns are subject to a 20% Restocking Fee.

  • Why do we charge this? Upon return, each shelf must be unboxed, inspected for scratches, cleaned, refinished if necessary, and professionally repacked to be sold again. This fee covers the labor and materials required for this process.

5. ELIGIBILITY & CONDITION REQUIREMENTS

To qualify for a refund, the item must be returned in Resalable Condition.

  • Original Packaging: The shelves must be returned in their original box with all internal protective foam and corner guards. We cannot accept returns in makeshift packaging (like garbage bags or loose boxes) as the wood will inevitably be damaged.

  • Unused: The item must be free of scratches, mounting marks, drill holes, paint transfer from your wall, or modifications.

  • Hardware: All mounting hardware (screws, anchors, brackets) must be included.

Refusal of Return: Nagoodtee reserves the right to refuse a return or charge a higher restocking fee (up to 50%) if the item is returned damaged due to poor packaging by the customer.

6. HOW TO INITIATE A RETURN

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer without contacting us first.

  1. Request Authorization: Email [email protected] with your Order Number and reason for return.

  2. Receive RMA: If approved, we will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number and the correct warehouse address in the US.

  3. Pack & Ship: Securely pack the item, write the RMA number on the outside of the box, and ship it via a tracked carrier.

  4. Notify Us: Send us the tracking number so we can monitor its arrival.

7. REFUND PROCESSING TIMELINE

Once your return is received and inspected at our warehouse:

  • We will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item.

  • We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund based on the item’s condition.

  • If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 7 business days.

8. CANCELLATIONS

  • Within 12 Hours: You may cancel your order for a full refund within 12 hours of purchase.

  • After 12 Hours / Shipped: Once a shipping label has been created or the item has shipped, the order cannot be canceled. You must receive the item and follow the standard Return Policy (subject to restocking fees).

  • Refused Deliveries: If you refuse delivery of a non-damaged order, the package will be returned to us. You will be responsible for both the outbound and return shipping charges, plus the restocking fee. Acceptance and a controlled return is always the more economical option.
